WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2009, Alabama Getaway is a family-owned boutique vacation rental company established by Elizabeth and Murray Moss. With a skilled team of over 70 professionals across guest services, reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry, we deliver outstanding property management. Elizabeth’s real estate experience since 1999 uncovered a critical market need: many firms neglected to maximize owner revenue. This realization inspired Alabama Getaway’s inception. Growing from 2 condos to over 220 properties solely through referrals, we focus on steady, sustainable growth, prioritizing revenue optimization for each property over portfolio expansion. We consistently evolve to meet shifting guest expectations, revenue management trends, and property care standards, ensuring exceptional outcomes for owners and guests.
MARKETING
Handling over 10,000 reservations annually, we promote properties through our website, VRBO, Airbnb, social media, and direct outreach to repeat guests. We highlight each property’s unique appeal with professional photography and staging. Upon onboarding, we conduct an in-person assessment to recommend revenue-enhancing improvements and provide a complimentary deep cleaning and inventory check to meet Alabama Getaway’s high standards before listing. Leveraging extensive market data, we set competitive rates to maximize bookings. These efforts drive exceptional guest reviews, further boosting property visibility and appeal.
REVENUE OPTIMIZATION
We craft a customized revenue strategy for each property, leveraging historical data, market trends, and demand forecasts. By continuously analyzing booking trends, occupancy rates, and market dynamics, we dynamically adjust pricing and availability to maximize income year-round. We meticulously monitor every property’s calendar and vacancies to ensure peak performance and optimal returns.
GUEST SERVICES
We deliver unparalleled guest support with a dedicated team available 24/7 via phone or text. Since launching our guest text line in 2009, we’ve provided concierge-level assistance, promptly addressing questions or urgent issues to ensure a seamless, enjoyable stay. This same responsive service extends to our property owners, offering convenient, direct communication whenever needed.
HOUSEKEEPING AND LAUNDRY
Since bringing housekeeping in-house in 2016, we’ve upheld exceptional cleaning standards. Our ‘All-Clean Bed’ program ensures fresh linens for every guest, paired with rigorous cleaning protocols. We pay our cleaning staff well above industry averages, fostering dedication and allowing ample time for thorough work. Established to prioritize guest and owner satisfaction over profit, our housekeeping division drives consistently glowing reviews, with guests frequently praising the spotless condition of our properties.
OWNER RELATIONS AND SERVICES
We are fully dedicated to our property owners, delivering a stress-free experience. Our owner representative collaborates closely with founders Murray and Elizabeth Moss, who remain readily available to address any concerns. Team leaders from maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and guest relations engage with owners as needed to ensure flawless operations. We provide comprehensive support, managing property upgrades and recommending trusted contractors, while offering personalized, full-service guidance. Our goal is to make owning a successful vacation rental surprisingly effortless and worry-free for every owner.
